Elizabeth Taylor's background
Elizabeth Taylor was a British-American actress and one of the last great stars of classic Hollywood, a child star in National Velvet who grew into a two-time Oscar winner [BUtterfield 8 and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?] and the highest-paid actress of her era, famously earning a million dollars for Cleopatra in 1963. Off-screen she was almost as famous for her private life, married eight times to seven husbands, twice to actor Richard Burton, and in later life became one of the first major celebrities to campaign publicly for AIDS research and awareness, co-founding amfAR.
What makes Elizabeth Taylor such a great example?

Elizabeth Taylor is a good example of a chart that has to account for repetition: eight marriages to seven men is an unusually large sample of relationships from one birthchart, and the pairing with Richard Burton, married, divorced and remarried, is a particularly good test of whether the same underlying synastry can pull two people back together after it has already driven them apart once.
The chart shown is the birth of Elizabeth Taylor, set at midday, with her marriages as transits, set at midday.
