Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte was the only son of Napoleon III, who was killed during the Zulu Wars, on the 1st June 1879. His death was largely his own fault, and due to his rash and unruly behaviour.


Following the prince's death, Lieutenant Jahleel Brenton Carey, who had volunteered to lead the small group of soldiers accompanying the Prince, was court martialled, but found to be not at fault.

Jahleel Brenton Carey was a lieutenant given supervision of his fellow lieutenant Prince Louis, however he could not control the prince, who imperiously took command and brought about his own death. Jahleel Brenton Carey was subsequently court martialled .


So what can Astrology tell us about Jahleel Brenton Carey ?


Carey survived the ambush that killed the Prince, along with four of the six men in the escort party [two were killed], but he never fully escaped the association with the Prince's death, and though his court martial ultimately returned his sword to him, his military career and reputation never recovered from the affair. He died only four years later, in Karachi, in 1883, at the age of 36.
