Nguyen Thi Minh Khai was a Vietnamese revolutionary and a leading member of the Indochinese Communist Party, who worked closely with Ho Chi Minh in Hong Kong in the early 1930s. Some accounts describe her as having become his common-law wife during this period, though the relationship, whatever its exact nature, did not endure. She was captured by French colonial authorities and executed in 1941.
