What makes Charlotte Corday such a great example?


Charlotte Corday assassinated Jean-Paul Marat in his bath, believing that killing him would end the Terror and save France from further bloodshed. She made no attempt to flee and was executed just four days later, remaining strikingly composed throughout her trial and on the scaffold.


The compressed timescale between the two deaths, an assassination and an execution only four days apart, gives an unusually tight window in which to compare Charlotte Corday's birthchart against both events.
