Under Construction
Methodology
If we have data, let's look at data. If all we have are opinions, let's go with mine - Jim Barksdale - Former CEO of Netscape, speaking at a board meeting sometime in the 90s

Precision
Precision is an inexact art, necessarily so because who knows how much precision is necessary. I attempt to be precise with times, less so with locations, where frequently a country has to suffice. There are also.extensive difficulties tracking time zones, and experience from genealogy shows that very frequently seemingly good official data can be incorrect or misleading.
Due to attempting to show the general case, rather than provide an explicit interpretation of meaning, I generally ignore astrological lore and simply look for co-incidence, and for the purposes of being strict, I adhere to a rule of 2 degrees maximum for a planet connection. This is because no-one can yet say what the rule ought to be. Personally, I suspect that a quantum sector to sector relation obtains at all times, and that these may become significant at specific moments, due to manifest conditions taking all factors of the situation into account, not just the chart, but previous charts and real world conditions. That is, what a specific astrological feature means will vary somewhat from circumstance to circumstance - as they say 'one man's meat is another man's poison'.
In general I select cases from wherever I can find them, from whatever interesting stories cross my path. No doubt there are biases, and football will more frequently feature than other sports because of this. But I hope I have a fair and omnivorous appetite for stories.
Rodden
Each event is given a Rodden rating, which mean the following:.
- AA - Authenticated by documentation, such as a birth certificate.
- A - Authenticated by documentation, such as a biograpy or authored account.
- B - Approximate, usually means that the time was about that time of day. , meaning the Ascendant and houses must be ignored, and the Moon may be considered about right.
- C - Contentious, a time is given, but may be disputed.
- R - Rectified, the time is unknown, but an educated guess has been made using astrological principles.
- X - No time is known, so charts will be set at midday, meaning the Ascendant and houses must be ignored, and the Moon may be out by as much as 6 degrees.
- Z - Even the date is inaccurate, but some of the slower planets may be in about the correct position.
Sources
While I link to Wikipedia for general biographical context, the astronomical and historical data used to construct these charts is as meticulously gathered as I can manage. Birth times and event hours are verified using [Astro-Databank / Official Archives / Contemporary Journals] wherever possible. Where exact times are unknown, a default solar chart (noon) is utilized.
